Milestones That Matter
The Beginning
Music brought us together. As the bassist and guitarist in the Chicago Afrobeat Project, Graham Czach and David Glines spent every weekend shoulder-to-shoulder on the road. Allergy season hit hard, and one afternoon David watched Graham pull out a neti pot and go to town. Graham had been neti potting since childhood and he was an unapologetic evangelist. David tried it. He was converted by morning.
Just an Idea
Long drives breed strange genius. When you're a band of restless young guys crammed into a car at 3am somewhere between Chicago and California, the ideas get wild. It was on one of those nights that David said it out loud: "Why isn't neti potting cool? Why doesn't everyone do this? People should be able to pick their own colors." Graham was instantly in. He started sketching - early drawings of what they were calling "Yeti Neti." Meanwhile, their wives started having babies.
The Breakthrough
Before there was a product, there were countless conversations about how to make neti potting actually cool. It needed bold colors. Creative marketing. Maybe a celebrity or two.
